Okay i'm not sure when you might see this message since the blog's under visited these days but I hope you guys (and girls) are all getting on fine since the hols began. We haven't had the chance to meet up for cell recently and I certainly miss our weekly fellowship. =]
Anyway let us keep in mind that as carriers of His spirit and power among others, our lives are instilled with purpose. Sometimes it might be difficult to be a living testimony but I hope dearly that we would stay rooted in Christian values and love, even in adverse circumstances. It is probable that God has something even better than what you envisioned for yourself in the first place. Here's a few verses I want to share:
Trust in the Lord, and do good; so you will live in the land, and enjoy security. Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act. He will make your vindication shine like the light, and the justice of your cause like the noonday.
Psalms 37: 3-6
I give thanks for God's grace; that He allowed us to come together as a cell back in devotion sessions back in OCIP (I can still remember our sharing and songs at that not-so-discreet meeting place haha.) and then as a cell in VJ every Friday morning with new brothers and sisters joining us. =] We don't have many cell meetings left this year since Term 4's likely to be mainly revision and all so I'm leaving it to the Lord to guide us in what direction we should proceed as a body in Him. Let us step forth into the new term with renewed faith!
Let me end with one of my favourite verses.
And Jesus answered them, “Truly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what has been done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ it will happen. Matthew 21:21
